Easter cards

Hallo,
Not much stamping time today and the pics aren't so great - I was losing daylight by the time I got them done. The Technique is called Burnished Embossing from Technique Junkies http://www.patstamps.com/. I embossed the cross - from Holly Berry - in gold and then burnished on some light blue ink - I used a cuttlebug embossing folder for the back round - textile I think - and in this first picture I lightly rubbed the same blue ink over the embossed panel - both panels are edged in gold krylon and layered onto light blue textured cardstock.
With the second card - I embossed the cross on blue cardstock and burnished with the light blue but left the cuttlebug panel white except for the edging and layered both panels onto slightly darker textured blue cardstock.

My cleaning efforts have paid off - my craft room is now "workable" again - although I still have one spot that needs to be cleaned and a box full of new rubba to be to be put on cling and get into my book.....and a ton of "projects" waiting (in hiding now) to do...
Its about time because I am itching to get back doing some of the sketch challenges - I haven't done one in about 3 weeks I think...
Alas it will have to wait until monday as I work all weekend :(.
Have a good weekend ya'll - I may post one or both night some pics I have been saving from a couple swaps I did recently so check in if ya have the time!!
