Butterfly Journal

Hallo,
Another project using the 'Faux Designer Paper' technique from technique junkies http://www.patstamps.com . I made up several of these sheets awhile back - I used one sheet with more teal colors for my new banner . This week I (or rather last week/weekend/ begining of this week) finally sat down and made up some stuff with the yellow and pink sheets (you can see them on this weeks previous posts...).
This journal turned out to be my favorite of them all. This is a simple composition notebook that I covered with my FDP in pink along with some 'store bought' Dp from K & Company to match. I used a lace punch from MS on the edges.
I cut panels for the centerpiece with my nesties in the cuttlebug. The phrase and the butterflys are both from Gina K.
I stamped the butterflys onto the journal and then onto the FDP and SBDP both with black memento ink. I cut out the butterflys, glued them to the journal and then coated them with chrystal lacquer for some added demension and shine.
I added a pink bauble up by the phrase and 3 of them in the bottom right hand corner of the journal.
All for today - see ya Monday!!!
tera
