You probably came to me from the very talented Vicki.

For my first project I did a card using a stamp from the set 'Posterboard Sentiments"  I started with the flowery DP and found some DP in the  same packet to match but that was light enough to stamp the phrase onto, then I started digging into my draws of 'stash' (still trying to remember where I have put everything when I moved into my new craft room so I tend to do a lot of digging ) and I ran across a box of puzzle pieces so I pulled out 3 for the embellishments.
I found the clear flowers in another drawer and used a puzzle piece punch to add the 'center' of the flower.
Lastly I added  some pearl drops with a Viva Décor pen.

My second project went through several versions - it started out to be a card but then I got the idea to do a plaque, so I again went digging through some boxes this time (a box of picture frames and wood plaques) and found one that was the size I wanted.
I stamped the main panel with leaves from the 'Fall Foliage' set - inked and stamped off once to make them lighter and then stamped 'Only God' over the top in a darker color.
The main panel was cut with a Spellbinders die and layered to the same die - one bigger in the same color as the phrase. I edged the main panel with the darker ink and the next layer with gold metallic pen.
Under that I first tried doing the stamped off leaves again with a row of 3 leaves in full strength ink but it was just too busy so I left this layer mostly white (edged in the darker ink) with 3 leaves stamped to match the sketch. and layered to another layer of the dark maroon red - again edged with gold metallic pen. I painted the plaque with gold acrylic paint - 2 layers and then used modge podge to glue the cardstock layer to the plaque. When all that dried I added some pearl drops with a Viva Décor pen.
I really love that phrase on this second project!!!
Now I will send you off to Miesje and I am sure she will have something wonderful to show you!!!
And I am off to work once again tonight!!!
        Have Fun!!!
